12×12 Process- My Fave Boys

Hey Scrappin Fans,

I am up on my channel today with a new process video, after a little lapse in mojo with all this crazy in the world it can be hard to find that motivation to create. BUT here I am with this layout created for the Kitaholic Kits Easter cyber crop weekend. This was for 1 of the challenges, a scraplift challenge of the talented Paige Evans’.

This woodgrain background paper jumped out at me from the kit this month, which was a suprise as it is not a pattern I generally like, but here it is & I love it.

The white heart in the original layout was stitched but I am not a stitcher so I have used white acrylic paint to create it.

Here are some close ups of the layout, and the link below takes you to the process video.

I hope you enjoy this layout & thanks for stopping by.

12×12 Layout share- Scrap the Boys March challenge

Hey Scrappin Fans,

I have a 12×12 layout, with a cutfile to share with you today. I have created this page for the Scrap the Boys March challenge which has a theme of ‘When I grow up’. I am scrapping this recent photo of my son as he caught a lizard in our backyard.

I used a cutfile from the Silhouette store to make the lizard, however I originally cut it on white cardstock but then decided it looked a little plain so went and cut it on the patterned paper. I then decided to layer them on top of each other for some extra dimension and interest.

Thank you for stopping by and

Scrap Room Tour 2020

Hey Scrappin Fans,

It has been 1 year since I really moved thngs around in my scrap room and I was getting a little bored. This I think was also affecting my mojo as I was not happy with the way things were organised and I could not easily access things. SO I changed things up, and while some furniture has stayed put, I moved things like my desk around to maximise what I can do.

Without further ado here is my updated scrap room tour. If you have any questions please leave me a comment and don’t forget to subscribe to see all my scrappy fun.

12×12 Layout- ‘Sunshine & Family’

Hey Scrappin Fans,

I have a new layout process video to share with you today, sharing a beautiful photo of my niece & 2nd cousin at a party early in 2018.

I have used a very busy & bright background paper for this, as a bit of a challenge to myself as this is a paper I like but am not always sure of the best way to use it.

I added some texture paste to the background just to tone it down a little and added bright funky embellishments so they popped.

I have more detail of my process here in my video, and remember if you enjoyed the video give me a thumbs up.

12×12 Cutfile Layout- Sister

Hey Scrappin Fans,

Welcome back to another share I have for you today. This 12×12 layout is for my nieces album, documenting memories of the day she was born. When I saw this cutfile I knew it would be perfect for this layout.

The background paper is one I picked up recently and is from American Crafts, the ephemera is mostly from Dear Lizzy She’s magic collection- I love this collection. As usually on my cutfile layouts I do not do lots of embellishing as the cutfile is enough I feel, add to this layout the bold, bright colours in the background.

Here are some close up photos of my layout and the link to the video is below.

Thank you for stopping by & see you next time.

Art Journal process video- from bad to lovely.

Hey Scrappin Fans,

I have an art journal page to share with you today, something I think I have not shared in a little while.

This one started with a pre-made page after I used it to clean up my gelli plate awhile back and the colour (as you will see) is not great. I then also used the page to clean off a stencil I used texture paste on. I decided this page would be one of layers!

I started off with some Jane Davenport collage papers to create some more texture on the page, and cover up some of that icky brown coloured. I then added some paint, stamping, bits and pieces of left over die cuts I had in my stash and then finally some paint pen.

Thank you for stopping by and see you soon.

12×12 Mixed Media Cutfile layout- ScrappingClearly Moodboard

Hey Scrappin Fans,

Welcome back to another process video & my first January challenge entry, the ScrappingClearly moodboard challenge. I thought this challenge was beautiful- the colours as well as the visual prompts.

I have done a mixed media background using Jane Davenport watercolours (I LOVE them!) and used them to incorporate the blue from the moodboard into the layout. I have used Heidi Swapp’s ‘Colour Fresh’ collection, which is a really bright & fun collection & had lots of the pink tones from the moodboard in it.

The cutfile is from Cut to You store & I have cut it on American Crafts white cardstock.

Here is the link to the full process video on my channel, as well as some close up pics.

Thank you for stopping by & if you like what you watch remember to like & subscribe.

Pocket Page Spread share

Hey Scrappin Fans,

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! I hope we are all safe well & had a nice time. I am back up on my channel with this pocket page spread documenting a family day out at a school fair from 2018- who else is still lost in 2018 scrapbooking??

I am using an older project life core kit, Prismatic and as part of my continuing stash busting kick I am using only project life cards instead of cutting up my paper stash. I have also used a mash up of supplies to embellish the spread, not sticking to a particular theme just a colour palette.

Click on the link to see the full process video. It would be great if you could give me a thumbs up & subscribe to see more of my crafty fun

Thanks for stopping by & see you soon. Happy scrapping

Pocket Page Spread

Hey Scrappin Fans,

It feels like forever since I have done a pocket page spread, so when I was in the midst of creating this spread I did feel a little rusty. For this spread I have used a mix of project life cards from my stash, as I have a fair few (lets be honest don’t we all) and I am on a mission this year to stash bust, plus a mix of embellishments that are just randomly kicking about in ephemera packs.

The photos are of my daughter and niece on a trip out, I think a Friday out we used to have and I just snapped this pics of them playing around together. I love the way the spread turned out funky and bright.

Head to my channel for the process video

Thanks for stopping by & happy scrappin

Scrap the Girls- November Challenge

Hey Scrappin Fans,

I am back with a new process video today, and this one is a little delayed as such. This layout is for the Scrap the Girls November challenge which the theme was ‘hangover’; for me this hangover is a crafty one following a weekend trip away to the Flutterby Designs ‘Create By the Lake’ retreat last year.

These photos are of my best friend and I dressed for the theme night – Christmas in July, Santa and her helper hehe. Whilst we didn’t have an actual hangover we certainly had a crafty one! It was an awesome weekend.

Here is the link to the process video

Thank you for stopping by and happy scrappin
