12×12 Layout- ‘Sunshine & Family’

Hey Scrappin Fans,

I have a new layout process video to share with you today, sharing a beautiful photo of my niece & 2nd cousin at a party early in 2018.

I have used a very busy & bright background paper for this, as a bit of a challenge to myself as this is a paper I like but am not always sure of the best way to use it.

I added some texture paste to the background just to tone it down a little and added bright funky embellishments so they popped.

I have more detail of my process here in my video, and remember if you enjoyed the video give me a thumbs up.

12×12 Process Video – Bunny Love

Hey Scrappin Fans,

Have you ever had a cut file not go to plan? That is what has happened with this layout I am sharing with you today. When I cut out the image it cut the inside pieces incorrectly so I decided to use the silhouette as a template to put paint around. And that is how I got my bunny design.

I laid my collage of photos out separately to counter balance the larger painted images and then popped a few sweet little embellishments around the photos to add some colour and interest.

I hope you enjoy watching this video, be sure to like & subscribe.

12×12 Cutfile Process Video- Happy Heart

Hey Scrappin Fans,

I am back with you today with another process video sharing a gorgeous cut file from the wonderful Paige Taylor Evans Silhouette Design store. I have also used her Whimsical and Horizon collections to create this page amongst a few other bits of other collections.

This picture gave me feelings of love and warmth so when I choose papers and embellishements for this layout I wanted to make sure they portrayed these same feelings to those seeing this layout. I do hope you like this page and be sure to like and subscribe.

12×12 Process Video- Puppy Kisses

Hey Scrappin Fans,

I have got a brand new process video for you today- a bit of a cute and funny one. I am documenting a funny moment between my step-daughter and our dog.

I have created this layout using my January Kitaholic Kit which was full of Kaisercraft papers and embellishments, amongst other bits and pieces. This layout, as you will see is a 3 photo layout which I have been on a kick with of later – I think I am trying to really get through the older photos so I can catch up last year and start this year.

Scrapping Fun DT Share- January Kit- Process Video.

Hey Scrapping Fun Fans,

Amy here with my 2nd and messy creation for January. For this project I created a mixed media layout, full of texture spray and glimmer sprays; what can I say I was in a messy mood.

I used a small square stencil to go with the game/screen theme from my photo, which is of my daughter playing a space type game out at the space station here in Canberra. The ink sprays I used are to make the colours in the patterned papers from the kit pop more and add that they have a gorgeous glimmer it really made an awesome background!

I have also cut strips of patterned paper from the kit and placed them behind and around the photo in the form of the of a square to represent a screen too.

I have used most of the embellishments I had left in the kit to embellishment the layout, using the level up piece as a larger die cut, and the washi and black ribbon as borders around the edge of the papers.

For a full process of how I created this layout click on the link to head to my channel and check out my process video- be sure to like and if you have any questions leave them in the comments.

Happy New Year Scrapping Fun Peeps!!

Welcome to a brand new year, brand new month and therefore a brand new kit, and for this 1st project of the month I am using a cut file and some mixed media to add to the kit. Now this months kit theme is a gamer type theme and for me we are not big gamers here so I was a little stumped, so I have gone outside the box.

My layout has gone with the colours of the kit and I have used the stars throughout the kit to go with the theme of nightime and sleeping- and wella here is my photo.

My photo is my stepdaughter and daughter in bed with me one weekend when Dad was away for thew weekend and we were having a girls weekend. I have used the stars from the kit to help with the theme of the layout, and then also used the colours from the photo to help bring in the kit.

I have used a star wreath cut file, which I coloured using Jane Davenport Inkcredible Inks in colours similar to those in the pattern papers.

I added a layer a piece of craft foam between the 2 pieces of patterned paper just to add that layer of dimension to the layout.

I have used some of the flairs and ribbon from the kit to embellish the layout as well some from my stash.

Head over to the link below to check out the process video for this layout.

See you later in the month with another project.
